In the saddle
The challenge
Patricia's career spans more than 500 competitions, European championships and a string of remarkable Friesian horses — but none of it lived in one place. Owners, sponsors and riders looking for lessons had no way to see who she is, which horses she rides, or what she has achieved together with them.
Our approach
We let the photography lead. A calm, light layout with a classic serif and generous white space puts the horses front and centre. The site is built around three stories: About, a narrative of her life in the saddle from her first ride at seven; Horses, a roster of every partner past and present with a status for each — Active, Legacy, In Memoriam or New Owner; and Achievements, a timeline from her 1995 debut to championship titles. A contact section doubles as the entry point for riding lessons and clinics, online or on location.
The outcome
Patricia now has a home for her career that she can point owners, sponsors and students to: her story, her horses and her results — including her European title at the Friesian Dressage Championship and becoming, with Dalton, the first Friesian pair to compete at the World Championship for Young Dressage Horses.
The cut is everything.
